Please be on time for your appointment, as our schedule is disrupted when a client is late. We reserve the right to reschedule appointments if someone is more than 15 minutes late. No-shows or cancellations not made within 24 hours will be charged a $30 fee per pet before the next appointment can be made. To help ensure your pet’s comfort please allow time for your pet to relieve itself prior to drop off.
Payment will be accepted only at the end of your pet’s grooming session. Please pick up your pet PROMPTLY at the time given to you. We are limited on space and are unable to hold pets past their designated completion time. Pets not picked up in a reasonable amount of time will be charged a sitting fee. Please do NOT pick up earlier than the time given to you as this can disrupt your pet’s grooming as they get very excitable when they see, hear, or smell you. If you do pick up earlier than the time given to you and interrupt your pet’s grooming session please be aware that we may cease the grooming process if your pet’s behavior becomes too erratic as it can be quite dangerous with our sharp tools and moving targets. We will charge full price regardless of completion in this circumstance.
All pets must be kept on a leash or in a carrier for safety purposes. If you have a retractable leash, please lock it in place at a reasonable length. Please understand that just because your pet is friendly does not mean that others coming in or out of our facility are also friendly. Please do not attempt to pet someone else’s animal without prior consent.
Your pet’s safety and comfort are our main priority. We will not perform any grooming procedure that causes pain or a level of stress that we consider excessive. This may also include nail trimming. If your dog has any behavior problems, please let us know. You, the dog owner will be held liable for any bites that require medical treatment and for any property damage caused by you or your pet. Pets that repeatedly soil in the shop may be charged extra clean-up fees.
Senior pets will be groomed for cleanliness and comfort. You, the dog owner, will advise us of any medical, physical, emotional issues, allergies, sensitivities, or pre-existing conditions.
Anything we deem “severely matted” will get shaved off. Your groomer will inform you of the condition of your pet and what needs to be done in order to restore comfort and cleanliness to your pet. Please keep in mind that a matted coat can cause numerous health conditions including itching, irritations, and skin infections. Removing a heavily matted coat includes risks of skin hemorrhaging, nicks, cuts, or abrasions due to warts, moles, skin folds trapped and hidden in the mats. Heavy matting can also trap moisture near the pet’s skin allowing fungus or bacteria to grow causing skin irritations that exist prior to the grooming process. We are not responsible for any pre-existing conditions or nicks and cuts due to a matted coat.
REFUSAL OF SERVICE
We have the right the refuse service to whomever we feel necessary whether this be due to behavior of the animal in question, condition of the animal in question, or any other reason as to why we feel we are not the groomer/salon for you and your pet.
